What are your hours?

Monday through Friday we are open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm in Stamford, and from 8:15 am until 5:00 pm in New Canaan. Urgent care visits are available on Saturday, Sunday and holiday mornings.

Can I see the same physician each time I come in?
We accomodate your requests for a specific physician whenever possible. In general our physicians share patients so that care for a patient is never compromised should one doctor not be available.

If I have an appointment for one child and my other child becomes sick, can I bring him/ her along to see the doctor too?
Please call to see if your other child can be seen around the time of your scheduled appointment and we will try to accommodate you. If not, we will offer you the next available appointment.

How long is the average wait time?
We make every effort to keep your wait time to less than 20 minutes. However, on busy days, if we encounter unexpectedly complicated problems, it may be longer.

Can my child be seen in either office location?

Families register for and patients attend one office or the other. The one exception is on Sundays and Holidays when only the Stamford office opens for emergency visits.

Do you have separate waiting rooms for sick and well children or a separate waiting area?
Our New Canaan office has separate waiting rooms for sick and well children as well as a waiting room for well infants less than 1 year of age. In Stamford there are separate waiting areas for sick and well patients.

Do you have evening hours?
Although we don’t offer evening hours, we always have an NEP physician on-call for urgent questions and emergencies after regular office hours.

Do you have weekend hours?
We are available on Saturday, Sunday and Holiday mornings for urgent sick visits. From September thru June, both offices open on Saturdays from 8:30-10:30 am. On Saturdays in July & August, and on all Sundays and Holidays only the Stamford office opens for emergency visits.

What is your hospital affiliation?
The Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Connecticut.

Until what age can my teenager come to your practice?
We will see your teenager until 6 months after the completion of high school. At the 18 year old (or pre-college) physical we will give your teenager a packet of information including our Records Release Form and referrals to other physicians who may assume his/her care.

Where did your physicians train?

Each New England Pediatrics physician has trained in a major tertiary medical center and is board-certified in Pediatrics. For a detailed list of credentials go to the “Physicians” section.

What is your fax number?
For New Canaan, the fax number is 203-972-5234.
For Stamford, the fax number is 203-348-1501.
