Well Baby Vsits

Our practice follows the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended schedule for well child care. During the first three years of life, our primary focus is to monitor growth and development, identify and treat developmental or medical problems, give routine childhood immunizations and provide education and guidance to parents. Topics we commonly discuss include nutrition, speech development, toilet training, school readiness, as well as normal developmental expectations for each stage of early childhood.

Annual Check-ups – (Three Years and Over)

Beginning at age three, we would like to see each child for an annual physical exam. Aside from medical problems which may arise, we are equally interested in how our patients are faring in three important areas: at home, in school and with friends. During middle school and teenage years we pay particular attention to each child’s academic progress, social development and emotional adjustment.

Sick Visits

Each weekday we are prepared to see any child who should not wait another 24 hours to be examined. Call early in the day to ensure a same day appointment and schedule directly with the reception staff.
